I have been working on a full size birchbark book for my friend in Wisconsin. I oiled the bark and punched holes in the covers and in the paper. I need to exchange the Chicago screws for shorter ones in the car

I hunted around for the little rivet screws and could only find the bag with four in it. I hunted around everywhere. Finally I decided I had to go all the way to the store 45 minutes away. Sheesh. I realized I could also pick up the second garage at the same time

We picked up a hitch hiker. He said he hitch hikes twice a week or so. So we made conversation for a few minutes. He smells like hard liquor. I have the hikups again. goodness. How did I gt them without eating or drinking anything
